Academic Advisement

For every student it’s important to carefully plan out the classes you take so you can meet your degree requirements efficiently and effectively, and, ultimately, be set up for a successful career. Academic Advisement is the hub of academic advising on campus, providing information and advice to help you complete your major, minor, and program requirements.

At WWU every student is assigned an academic advisor based on their major(s) and programs to help you choose the right classes for you and your major. If you’re unsure what you want to major in, Academic Advisement can help you get access to campus resources that will help you discover your calling. Students who have chosen a multiple majors or programs will be assigned additional advisors knowledgeable in each area to help you stay on track toward completing your degrees.
